Canada: Bank robbery attempt fails, two suspects killed

Vancouver: A bank robbery attempt was foiled in the Sanch area of ​​British Columbia, Canada, killing two suspects and injuring six policemen in an exchange of fire.

According to foreign media, the police said that they reached the spot at 11 am after receiving information that armed robbers had entered a bank on Shelbourne Street.

Sanch Police Department Chief Constable Dan Dothy said that as soon as the accused left the bank, there was an exchange of fire between the police and the accused, in which two accused were killed while one managed to escape.

He said that six policemen were also injured in the retaliatory firing of the accused and they were rushed to the hospital where the condition of the three injured officers is said to be critical.

“I don’t know who fired the first shot at the scene. The suspects were armed with heavy weapons and were wearing body armor,” Zain Dothi said.

He said that the bank staff and citizens were safe in the incident and no one was harmed.
