A total of 36 songs by the artist who died in 2019 Camilo Sesto will remember his figure during the tour ‘Living like this is dying of love’, which will tour the stages of Spain and Latin America and that the director of the show, Juan Fran Senabre, has described as "spectacular" and what’s up "beyond tribute".

Senabre has highlighted the importance that the first stop of this show is in Alcoy (Alicante), the singer’s hometown, next Wednesday the 15th and has told EFE that he wanted to create "a different show that could become a benchmark, with all the rigor and seriousness that this recognition deserves for one of our best artists".

The intention of the producer is to achieve "that each viewer finds their own experiences with the songs, because it is not a tribute or a concert, but we go further", has affirmed Senabre, who has influenced that "It is a show made with the heart so that Camilo Sesto’s intergenerational audience can feel the music on the surface".

For this, a stage at five heights, one hundred square meters of LED screens, fourteen musicians on stage, a choir and four singers will compose what the music producer has defined as "a visually very spectacular show, in which the songs will be able to be taken with the hands".

The leading voices, who will sing in a show centered on 36 scenes starring in an environment of great sound, audiovisual and lighting montage, will be Pablo Perea, Diego Valdés, Inés Vera and Pedro Morales, the latter, a member of one of the last tours of the singer and composer from Alcoy.

The live music will feature the contest of interpreters with extensive experience in concerts by Alejandro Sanz, José Luis Perales or Camilo Sesto himself, as is the case of the drummer Pino Rovereto.

The director, who has recalled that those who attend any of the functions will be able to relive hits such as ‘Algo de mi’, ‘Como cada noche’ or ‘Perdóname’, has stated that there are hardly any tickets left for the six premiere functions scheduled in Alcoy, on a tour that will continue just after the Christmas festivities in Lleida to then visit a good part of the Spanish capitals.

As Senabre has confirmed to EFE, there are advanced conversations to perform at the Rialto in Madrid, in Barcelona, as well as in various theaters in Latin America, "where the fan phenomenon of Camilo Sesto is more developed".

Finally, he stressed that "Camilo Sesto was always a unique international ambassador of our country and always carried Alcoy’s name wherever he went.", for which he has highlighted that the Calderón Theater is a theater "special" for the artist, since he received in him the imposition of the recognition as Favorite Son of the city.
