The statement Says the temple is located in the Odar Meanchey province of Cambodia and that the government has repeatedly emphasized its sovereignty over the area. The Cambodian military responded to the incident in a professional and responsible manner, informing the Thai side of the violation of the agreement and asking them to respect the terms.
