Calvo and Rodríguez, ninth at the Milton Madison

Tania Calvo and Laura Rodríguez have finished in ninth position in the Madison test corresponding to the Nations Cup in Milton (Canada).

Calvo and Rodríguez, who already formed a pair at Madison in the first Nations Cup held in Glasgow, have gone from less to more in the race to end up entering the fight for points in the last sprints. The Spanish couple has added points in the second to last and in the last sprint, two in each of them, to finish ninth with 4 points.

Alejandro Martínez and Juan Peralta inaugurated the Spanish participation in the last day in the individual speed. Both achieved the classification for the 1/16 final in the 200m after the Valencian finished 24th with a time of 10″043, while the Navarrese finished 26th with 10″140. In the crosses, Martínez fell to the Dutchman Ligtlee and Peralta to the Canadian Dodyk.

Erik Martorell in the men’s Omnium obtained the 16th final place. The long-distance runner of the national team started the competition with a fourteenth position in the scratch and a fifteenth place in the Tempo Race. In the elimination he finished twenty-first, while in the score he managed to recover positions after adding 14 points that have allowed him to reach 41 points in the final classification to be sixteenth.
