‘Calling LeBron old motivated him to kick our butts’: Grizzlies player Jaren Jackson Jr.

Jaren Jackson Jr. was asked on the latest episode of the ‘P with Paul George’ podcast if teammate Dillon Brooks’ comments calling LeBron James ‘old’ had backfired in the Grizzlies-Lakers series.

“He helped the Lakers get inspired and energized to win … but he’s old. He kicked our asses and he’s old.”he pointed JJJ of Memphis Grizzlies.

‘king’ James led the playoff series

LeBron James, 38, finished the series against the Grizzlies averaging 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.

Jaren Jackson Jr. also paid respects to the Los Angeles Lakers star: “He is the greatest player to play basketball”

Lebron James and the Lakers have won three of the last four games against the Grizzlies after Dillon Brooks call him ‘old’; in the Grizzlies’ victory in Game 2.
