A high school teacher has been suspended in the United States for calling a Muslim student a terrorist.
According to US media reports, the incident took place at Ridge Field Memorial High School in New Jersey, where a Muslim student was subjected to hateful behavior by a teacher.
The executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations says 17-year-old Mohammed Zobi told his family the details of what happened to him and that the teacher called him a terrorist in public.

According to him, when Mohammad Zabi asked his math teacher to give him homework, the teacher said in front of other students and in front of another teacher that we do not talk to terrorists.
The parents complained about the incident to the school administration which immediately started an inquiry and suspended the teacher and the teacher was stopped from teaching till the investigation was completed.

The Ridge Field School District said in a statement that any discrimination against any student or staff member would not be tolerated.
