Cajoo closes a financing round of 40 million euros

Cajoo, a French fast-delivery grocery startup, has closed a funding round of 40 million euros with the aim of competing with large food delivery companies. The main investor who was in the round was Carrefour, plus Headline, Frist, and XAnge. For now, it is only found in France. However, the company plan to continue spreading, as is the case in Spain, Belgium, Italy and Eastern Europe. And for that reason, its purpose is to expand its team by the end of the year.

Cajoo service is available on seven days a week with a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on weekdays, and until 2:00 a.m. on weekends. This schedule allows you to send a large number of orders.

Carrefour’s alliance with Cajoo represents a ‘win to win’ agreement. Carrefour has managed to enter the world of ultra-fast delivery service, with the aim of positioning itself in home food delivery. While, this agreement allows Cajoo to expand its range of products.
