According to Khaleej Times, the chairman of the local group had earlier said that Russian nationals are one of the major investors in Dubai and its property projects.

According to the report, Dubai’s property sector saw record transactions during the quarter with 22,895 units sold, which is 61 percent higher than the third quarter of last year.

Dubai was the best performer of almost all global markets, with prices remaining roughly flat overall during the July-September period, Betterhomes said in a statement.

Palm Jumeirah apartments saw a strong 10 percent increase in prices, The Mock Hills and Mohammed bin Rashid City saw apartment prices increase by 7 percent and 6 percent respectively, as did Dubai Studio City and Al Khail Heights, the firm said. Prices also recorded a marginal increase of 3 percent.
