Bunnie Xo, wife of country music star Jelly Roll, has revealed she is facing jail time. The 45-year-old personality announced on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast on November 21 that she must report to jail.
The impending booking stems from a suspended driver’s license incident. Bunnie Xo explained the situation was unintentional, tracing back to an unpaid 2020 speeding ticket in Alabama.
She claimed to have no memory of receiving the initial Alabama fine. Bunnie Xo believes she is frequently stopped by law enforcement in her new vehicle, which she says “looks like a drug dealer vehicle.”
She detailed two recent police encounters. During the first, an officer informed her that her license was suspended due to the outstanding Alabama ticket. She received a warning and was advised to reinstate her license.
Bunnie Xo paid the 2020 ticket in late October, believing the issue was resolved and her license reinstated.
However, during a second traffic stop “the other day,” where she admitted she might have been speeding, her license was still suspended. Driving with a suspended license is an arrestable offense.
The officer, however, did not arrest her on the spot. Instead, he gave her the option to report to jail for booking later that week. Bunnie Xo expressed surprise at this alternative given her past experiences.
She has accepted the directive to go to jail for booking. Bunnie Xo stated she does not understand why her license remains suspended since the original fine was paid, and her lawyer is now involved.
If she proceeds with the booking, Bunnie Xo plans to document the experience. She joked about going “super glammed” and recording the event, referencing her previous mugshots.
