The third T20 game between India and Ireland was abandoned due to rain. Not a single ball could be thrown in this game. It was raining non-stop, so the referees decided to abandon the game, but Team India won the first two games of the series. Because of this, India won the series 2-0 under the captaincy of Jasprit Bumrah. Once he won the series, Bumrah registered many major records to his name.

Captain Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets in the first two games against Ireland and was also very frugal. Because of this, he was given the Player of the Series award. This is Bumrah’s second Player of the Series award at T20 International. In doing so, he drew level with Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, Hardik Pandya and Akshar Patel. These players have also won two Player of the Series awards at T20 International.
