A new regimen has begun in Carolina with head coach Frank Reich and the quarterback Bryce Young like new faces of Panthers for the 2023 season of the nfl.
After the first practice of the Panthers training camp, the head coach named the first player taken in the most recent NFL Draft as the starting quarterback Carolina for the regular season.
“Yeah, he’s the starting quarterback.”, Reich said flatly at the end of the training.
The designation was a no-brainer after the Panthers delivered two first-round draft picks (2023 and 2024), two second-round picks (2023 and 2025) and wide receiver DJ Moore to climb to first round global selection that belonged to the Chicago Bears.
Now, Andy Dalton and Matt Corral will be Bryce Young’s backups. Dalton is a 12-season veteran with extensive experience with the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and New Orleans. For his part, Corral is about to start his second season in the NFL.
