The UEFA Europa League team of the season is out. Bruno Fernandes made the cut. He’s not alone – Casemiro is in too. Both play for Manchester United.
Tottenham has the most players on the list. Porro, Vicario, Romero, and Solanke are all part of it. Some other names: Bjorkan from Bodo/Glimt, Koch from Eintracht Frankfurt, Berg from Bodo/Glimt, Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, and Cherki from Lyon.
These players stood out. Even though their teams didn’t win, they played well. Bodo/Glimt, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Lyon didn’t make it past the quarters.
