Brooklyn Nets beat the Heat and aggravate their streak

Kevin Durant scored 23 points, Seth Curry added 17 and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Miami Heat 110-95 on Saturday, suffering their fourth straight loss, their worst losing streak of the season.

Andre Drummond had 13 points and 11 rebounds for Brooklyn, which got 11 points from Kyrie Irving, who will play his first home game of the season on Sunday.

He had not been able to play at the Nets’ home, due to refusing to be vaccinated against COVID. A change in New York regulation has now opened up that possibility for him.

Nic Claxton also helped the Nets with 10 points.

Bam Adebayo scored 14 points for Miami, which even trailed by 37 points, its biggest deficit of the season. The Heat were without coach Erik Spoelstra, who had to attend to a family matter and was replaced by Chris Quinn.
