The UK has made important announcements regarding citizens of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain waiting for visas.
The British Home Office has announced that the UK has granted e-visa exemption to citizens of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Under the new amendment, Saudi and Bahraini citizens will be exempt from electronic visas for six months. The new amendment will take effect on June 1, after which Saudi and Bahraini citizens awaiting a British visa can now apply without an electronic visa.
Saudi and Bahraini nationals can travel to the UK without an e-visa, but they must apply for an online e-visa exemption each time they arrive in the UK.
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss says the move will further strengthen Britain’s ties with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
