Brazilian champions Vivo Keyd Stars are set to begin their Worlds 2025 campaign with a historic ambition: to become the first team from their nation to reach the playoffs of the global League of Legends championship.
The team, known as VKS, will face Team Secret Whales in their opening match on October 15 at 05:00 UTC. The highly anticipated contest marks Brazil’s latest attempt to advance beyond the initial stages of the world championship.
VKS earned their spot at Worlds 2025 by securing their second Brazilian title. They won the third stage of the League of The Americas (LTA Sul). This victory granted them direct qualification to the second stage of the tournament.
Their opponent, Team Secret Whales, was confirmed after T1 defeated Invictus Gaming 3-1 in an earlier entry phase match.
Vivo Keyd Stars has expressed confidence ahead of their debut. On social media, the team declared, “The time has come to show what we are capable of! Now is the time to make the legion, a region, and a nation proud!”
