Two Brazilian teams without a major organization have secured spots in the next two PUBG: Battlegrounds Majors. The PUBG Americas Series 5 wrapped up on Sunday, featuring 24 teams from across the Americas.
The top three teams earned a spot in the upcoming PUBG Global Series 7 2025 and 8, taking place in April and May. Big names like Team Liquid, with Pedro “sparkingg” Ribeiro, and Falcons were in the mix, along with other regional teams: 55 e-Sports, Al Qadsiah, Bestia, Luminosity Gaming, and TOYO Esports. But only one of these teams managed to snag a spot.
In a surprising turn of events, two Brazilian teams without major backing – El Proyecto and Working in Silence – took the top and third spots, respectively. They fought their way through 18 intense matches over three days to secure their places.
