Born in 1908 in São Francisco de Assis, Rio Grande do Sul, Sister Inah’s life has been marked by a deep commitment to her faith and education. She entered the Santa Teresa de Jesús boarding school at the age of 16 and was later confirmed in Montevideo, Uruguay, at 21. Her dedication to teaching and faith led her to work as a Portuguese and mathematics teacher in Rio de Janeiro in 1930.
