Tough start for Brazilian teams in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The first day was a struggle, with five losses out of six matches. Only Legacy managed to win, taking down their opponent in a best-of-one match. Fluxo and Imperial, on the other hand, suffered two defeats each.
If they lose another series in the best-of-three format, they’re out of the tournament. That’s what happened to Fluxo, led by Andrei “arT” Piovezan. They lost to FlyQuest, then Complexity, and finally got eliminated by Chinggis Warriors. Fluxo left the tournament without a single win, just like Metizport.
Elimination Looms
Fluxo’s exit was confirmed after a 2-1 loss to Chinggis Warriors. The team took to Twitter to thank their supporters and announced their departure from the tournament.
1-2 against Chinggis Warriors and we’re out of the #BLASTtvMAJOR. Thanks to everyone who believed in us and supported us until the end. We’ll keep going, together. #SegueOFX pic.twitter.com/RCipFS5qQE

Imperial managed to bounce back by beating Metizport, securing their spot in the 1-2 group. Their next match is against Legacy, who lost to BB Team and has the same record.
Decisive Match Ahead
The showdown between Imperial and Legacy is set for Thursday at 12 pm. The winner will stay alive and compete in the 2-2 bracket, needing one more win to reach the second phase. The loser will be the next Brazilian team to exit the tournament.
