Brazil Qualifies for eSports World Cup with Team Liquid

Team Liquid Heads to eSports World Cup with All-Brazilian Lineup

Teamfight Tactics is coming to the eSports World Cup in 2025, and Team Liquid is making history with an all-Brazilian lineup. They’re heading to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to compete for the championship title.

The team, consisting of eusouolucas, ego illusions, vclf, Bapzera, and coach SlooperX, qualified through the American qualifiers. Only four Brazilian players made the cut, and they’re feeling confident.

The finals will take place from August 11 to 15, with a prize pool of $500,000. Team Liquid came in second, behind Vitality and ahead of Citadel Gaming. The fourth and fifth-place teams will have a chance to snag a spot through a wild card match.

To prep for the tournament, Team Liquid will host a boot camp at their facility in Utrecht, Netherlands. The team wants to get comfortable with the new set 15 and adjust to the time difference between Brazil and Saudi Arabia.

The time difference between Brasília and Riyadh is six hours, but it’s only one hour from the Netherlands. This boot camp will help the team get in sync before the big tournament.
