Bravos, with 5 Hrs -one of Ozuna- extend winning streak to 13

Michael Harris II and Travis d’Arnaud had three hits apiece and homered for the second straight day as the Atlanta Braves clinched their 13th win by beating the Washington Nationals 10-4 on Tuesday night.

The Braves hit five home runs in the game. They homered in back-to-back at-bats for the third straight game.

This time they succeeded twice.

D’Arnaud and Marcell Ozuna disappeared the ball in the third inning and Orlando Arcia and Harris II followed in the sixth.

Dansby Swanson hit another homer for the Braves, who have 32 home runs during their winning streak, the longest in the majors this season.

Atlanta hadn’t had such a streak until after winning 14 games from July 26 to August 9, 2013.

Starter Max Fried (7-2) struck out the first five Washington batters. He pitched 5 2/3 innings, in which he gave up four runs and six hits, with six strikeouts and one walk.

Jackson Stephens covered the final three innings for his second save.

The loss went to Jackson Tetreault (0-1).

For the Braves, Venezuelans Ronald Acuña Jr. 4-0, Arcia 4-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs. The Dominican Ozuna 4-2 with a run scored and an RBI.

For the Nationals, the Venezuelans César Hernández 3-1 with a run scored and an RBI, Ehire Adrianza 4-2 with a run scored. The Dominicans Nelson Cruz 4-0, Maikel Franco 4-1, Víctor Robles 3-1 with a run scored.
