Bose replaces its QuietComfort 35 II with a new wireless on-ear headphones with active noise reduction: the QuietComfort 45. This new audio accessory offers several improvements. And almost all of them relate, more or less directly, to active noise reduction. The release is scheduled for September 30 at a price of 350 euros.
Bose has updated its wireless active noise canceling on-ear headphones. the QuietComfort 35 II, released in 2017, is replaced by the QuietComfort 45. The positioning of this new accessory is almost identical to that of its predecessor: a high-end headset that aims to be the direct competitor of the premium reference in the segment: the Sony headset, here the famous WH-1000XM4 released in June 2021.

Several new features separate the QuietXomfort 35 II and the QuietComfort 45. And all these new features relate, more or less directly, to active noise reduction. The most significant improvement is autonomy. She is now from 24 hours with active noise reduction (sound volume at 50%). Which is very good. Charging has also been optimized, since it suffices to 15 minutes to obtain 3 hours of autonomy and 150 minutes for a full charge.

The headphones also benefit from finer and more responsive active noise reduction. It offers two different modes: Quiet and Aware. The first is total noise reduction, which emphasizes the midrange frequencies that abound in noisy places, such as offices, restaurants, outdoors or in transport. The second is similar to the transparency mode that you find in other headphones which allows you to listen to ambient noises.
Another novelty brought by this new headset, the support of the standard Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless communication (andmultipoint pairing to easily switch from one device to another) and USB type-C for the wired connection (especially for recharging). The helmet comes with an app iOS and Android which allows you to customize your audio profile according to individual preferences.
The Bose QuietComfort 45 seems to be a nice solution competing with that of Sony. It will obviously be necessary to confirm this once the accessory is on the ears. Note that the product will be on sale at a price of 350 euros (to a cent). The commercial release date is set on September 30. But pre-orders have already started.
