BOMB: Reus leaves Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund have announced that attacking midfielder Marco Reus, an icon of the club for more than a decade, will no longer remain with the team after his contract expires on June 30. This news marks the end of an era in the career of Reus, who was one of the most popular and talented players in Borussia Dortmund's recent history.

The 34-year-old Reus has been an outstanding member of the team since his arrival in January 2012. During his time at the club he left an indelible mark with his skill, vision and goalscoring ability. However, in recent years, injuries have affected his performance and limited his on-field participation.

Recurring injuries affected Reus' continuity in the starting XI and affected his ability to contribute at the highest level. Despite his undoubted talent, the club has made the difficult decision not to extend his contract in order to rejuvenate the team and give room for new hopes.

At Borussia his whole life

Marco Reus has dedicated virtually his entire career to Borussia Dortmund and is a symbol of loyalty and dedication. Despite this farewell, his legacy at the club will last for a long time. Borussia Dortmund fans will always remember his great moments and his passion for the team.

Now Reus has to look for a new club from next summer to continue his career. His experience and undisputed quality will certainly make him a sought-after target for many European teams.
