According to the English page Football Insider, Jack Grealish has communicated to those around him that he does not expect to stay in the Manchester City beyond the upcoming summer transfer market and has asked his people to look for potential new clubs.
The news is not surprising given that he has not established himself as a starter in the citizen team and his level has dropped significantly since he left Aston Villa in the summer of 2021. Despite having a guaranteed place in the English team, Grealish wants change of scene to have continuity and return to being one of the most decisive players in the Premier League.
Jack Grealish’s Options
The English attacker was the most expensive signing in the history of Manchester City, but his performance has dropped a lot and the possibility that Pep Guardiola’s club could let him go for another attacker is not ruled out. Names like Rafael Leao from AC Milan have sounded to arrive at the club in the short term.
Grealish does not look badly on leaving for another big Premier League club like Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham.
