Sevilla FC could see a financial solution on the horizon thanks to the ‘petrodollars’ coming from Saudi Arabia. The Arab team Al Hilal has intensified its efforts to sign the striker of the Andalusian team, Youssef En-Nesyri, after three previous failed attempts in the Nervionense dressing room.
According to newspaper reports ACE, Al Hilal has presented an offer that could hardly be refused: 45 million euros for the transfer of the Moroccan striker and a tempting contract of 45 million euros for three seasons, which means 15 million net for each of them. With this juicy proposal, the Saudi club seeks to finalize the signing of En-Nesyri, after having been unsuccessful in its previous attempts with other Sevilla players, such as Rakitic, Fernando Reges and Yassine Bono.
En-Nesyri has become Al Hilal’s main target as his attempts to sign Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic have gone unsuccessful. Given the magnitude of the offer and the economic attractiveness for the player, Sevilla is probably forced to seriously consider the sale of En-Nesyri, since he is one of the fundamental pillars in the current market.
One of the clubs that is spending the most
Al Hilal has been active on the transfer market this summer, spending close to €170m to sign big-name players such as Malcolm, Ruben Neves, Milinkovic-Savic and Koulibaly. This shows that the Saudi team spares no resources to strengthen itself for next season.
