Bollywood’s Kriti Sanon Calls for Urgent Action on Delhi’s Toxic Air

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has voiced significant concern over Delhi’s escalating air pollution during a press conference for her upcoming film, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’. She described the city’s toxic air as a dire issue requiring immediate action.

Sanon, who has a personal connection to Delhi, noted that changes in the city’s air quality are not only visible but also deeply felt. She warned that if the situation continues unchecked, the pollution will reach levels where people will struggle to see one another.

Her remarks quickly drew political attention. Congress leader Abhishek Dutt publicly thanked Sanon for highlighting the critical environmental issue.

Dutt criticized the local government, stating, “Everyone is witnessing Delhi’s pollution except the Delhi government.” He commended the actress for using her platform to speak out.

Sanon’s upcoming film, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, features her alongside South superstar Dhanush. She praised Dhanush as an excellent artist, noting his understanding, spontaneity, and experience on set.

The actress shared that Dhanush’s depth and ability to grasp acting nuances make every scene special. She recounted how they often exchanged knowing glances after emotional or intense takes, confirming the scene’s success.

Directed by Anand L. Rai, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is a romantic drama produced by T-Series and Color Yellow Production. The film is set to release on November 28, 2025.

Filmed across various parts of Delhi, the project boasts music by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It will be available to audiences in both Hindi and Tamil languages.
