In fact, famous producer and filmmaker Ekta Kapoor and actor and comedian Vir Das won the award at the 51st International Emmy Awards in New York City. While Ekta was honored with the award for her “groundbreaking career and impact on the Indian television landscape,” Vir Das received the award for best comedy for his Netflix special “Veer Das: Landing.” All Bollywood celebs took to social media to congratulate Ekta Kapoor and Veer Das on this success.
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a happy picture of Ekta Kapoor with the award on her Instagram story and wrote, “Congratulations to your powerhouse!! Very proud of you, Ekta Kapoor.
Kriti Sanon also congratulated her on her Instagram stories on winning the International Emmy Award. In an Insta story, the Mimi actress shared Ekta’s video of the winning moment and wrote, “Oops!!!
