Bollywood celebrities are sharing their plans for the upcoming Diwali 2025 celebrations, with many opting for intimate family gatherings and environmentally conscious festivities. Among those revealing their intentions are Sunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, and veteran actress Neena Gupta.
Sunita Ahuja detailed a traditional and serene celebration at her home. She plans to light lamps, perform prayers to Goddess Lakshmi, and enjoy the holiday with her family.
Ahuja emphasized her decision to forgo fireworks this year. She cited her deep affection for dogs as the primary reason, choosing not to disturb them with loud explosions.

Tina Ahuja, Govinda and Sunita’s daughter, echoed her mother’s sentiments. She affirmed the family’s tradition of worshipping Goddess Lakshmi at home and welcoming friends with sweets. Tina confirmed that crackers would not be part of their celebrations, adding that she plans to create rangoli and diya designs.

Meanwhile, Neena Gupta is set to observe Diwali in a distinctly different setting. She will travel to her home in Mukteshwar, nestled in the mountains, for a unique celebration.
Gupta anticipates a small, intimate gathering with five or six neighbors. The group plans to share meals, drinks, and enjoy each other’s company in the peaceful mountain environment.
On the professional front, Neena Gupta was last seen in Anurag Basu’s film ‘Metro In Dino’. The movie, released on July 4, explores the love stories of couples across various age groups in a metropolitan city.
The ensemble cast for ‘Metro In Dino’ included Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Anupam Kher.
