Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has made an impact on Instagram for the first time since the arrest of her husband Raj Kundra.
Raj is said to have produced and distributed pornographic content. Last week, his request for bail was denied.
Shilpa said in her statement that she has “complete confidence in the Mumbai police and the Indian judiciary.”
His full statement on Instagram reads as follows:
“Yes! The last few days have been challenging on all fronts. There have been many rumors and accusations. Many false accusations about me from the media and also from certain (not so) benefactors.
Lots of trolls / questions were asked … not just me, but my family as well. “
“MY POSITION… I HAVE NOT MADE A STATEMENT YET
and it will not do so in this case as the investigation is still ongoing, so please stop writing false subpoenas on my behalf. “
“I repeat my philosophy, as a celebrity ‘Never complain, never explain.’ All I can say is that as this is an ongoing investigation, I have full confidence in the Mumbai police and the Indian judiciary. “
“As a family, we use all of our available legal resources. But until then, I humbly ask you, especially as a MOTHER, to respect our privacy for the good of my children and I ask you to refrain from commenting on half-hearted information without verifying its veracity ”.
