Bollywood actress Helen is ready to return to the big screen after ten years. She has signed on for director Abhinay Deo’s film Brown. The actress was last seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine.
Brown is a neo-noir crime drama based on the book City of Death by Abheek Barua. The film is set against the backdrop of the bustling city of Kolkata.
In a recent interview, Helen talked about her role in the film. “When I was first contacted, I felt very comfortable with the clarity and security that the team gave me about my role. I identify with this character. I plan to just enjoy my return to the set.”
“I was pretty nervous seeing how things have changed since the last time I was on the big screen. But as I have witnessed the change, everything feels good. And indeed, fascinating to say the least, because this is a space that I have never experienced before,” says Helen.
Helen made her film industry debut at the age of 19 in the movie Howrah Bridge with the popular song Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu. Since then, she has become extremely popular and has starred in more than 700 movies.
