Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is one of a kind. He will soon become the only actor to have two theatrical releases during the pandemic. Mumbai Saga was released in March and Chehre was released in late August.
After the arrival of COVID-19 in India, many sectors experienced a crisis, including the film industry, leading to huge losses.
Emraan advocates a theatrical release because the experience is simply different than on a small screen. Plus, it offers theater owners a helping hand during these troubled times.
“Movie theaters are inextricably tied to the movie experience and owners make their money from it. Therefore, it is our responsibility to support them during this crisis. That is why I have fought to make sure my films are released in theaters, be it Mumbai Saga or Chehre. “
“I am looking forward to Chehre’s release. This is my first movie with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, so I wanted to do everything right. The passion with which we work on the film requires an experience on the big screen. Our producer, Anand Panditji, also secured us a theatrical release. We take into account all security measures. We have all fallen in love with our movies because of the magic it creates in the movies. And that’s why movies that deserve the big screen shouldn’t settle for less. I look forward to seeing people return to theaters with the exciting surprise we have in store for them with Chehre, ”he added.
Chehre, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, will be released on August 27.
