Boca Juniors: Battaglia stopped a probable team to play on Monday

Boca’s coach, Sebastian Battaglia, tried for the first time a possible team for Monday’s friendly match against Colo Colo de Chile at Estadio Uno de La Plata, in the debut of this 2022.

The names that were seen on the Ezeiza property were Agustín Rossi; Luis Advincula, Carlos Izquierdoz, Marcos Rojo, Frank Fabra; Diego GonzalezAlan Varela, Juan Ramirez; Eduardo Salvio, Nicolas Orsini, Exequiel Zeballos.

The surprises were seen above with the appearance of Orsini and Zeballos and the exclusion of Luis Vázquez -recently recovered from coronavirus-. The same thing happened with Sebastian Villa, who is currently suffering from the disease.

On the opposite side stood Javier García; Eros Mancuso, Lisandro López, Gastón Avila, Agustín Sandez; Cristian Medina, Esteban Rolón, Agustín Almendra; Norberto Briasco, Luis Vazquez, Aaron Molinas.

Like the Colombian striker, the other attacker Matthew Retegui is positive for coronavirus, while defining his future with offers from clubs like Tigre.

For its part, Cristian Pavón added some minutes in training, but since he joined the preseason late, he may not even be called up for Monday.

Boca awaits the arrival of defender Nicolás Figal and the resolution of the negotiation with Darío Benedetto (Elche de España), while he continues his set-up for a 2022 that will have him in the Copa Libertadores.

The team will make its first presentation this Monday, at 9:00 p.m.against Colo Colo in the One of La Plata, where the sanitary pass will be required to enter and the use of the chinstrap will be mandatory, according to the health authorities from Buenos Aires.
