Boca fastened the ticket to the quarterfinals in the female Libertadores

Almost simultaneously with the men’s defeat in Rosario, Boca gave themselves another treat in the women’s Copa Libertadores by adding their second victory in the same number of appearances. It was 4 to 2 against the local Ñañas for the group stage of the contest that is taking place in Ecuador.

With two goals from Camila Gómez Ares, one from Yamila Rodríguez and one against Nelly Córdoba, Boca reached 6 points in Group B, also the result of a 2-0 victory over Defensor Sporting on the first date.

For her part, the Colombian midfielder Maireth Pérez scored the two goals for the Ñañas, who accumulated their second defeat in the tournament, after having lost in their debut against the Brazilian Ferroviária (0-1).

The two best teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals: those from B will face those from A, for now led by Deportivo Cali (6 points), followed by Corinthians (3), Olimpia (3) and Always Ready (0). .
