Blue Beetle: The first reports unanimously announce a “huge” success

The first reactions to Blue Beetle are well known, viewers are (mostly) raving about the latest DC Comics film.

Blue Beetle follows Jaime Reyes as he becomes the named superhero Blue Beetle. After returning to his hometown of Palmera City, the freshly minted graduate was chosen to be the symbiotic host of an ancient alien relic called the Scarab. This grants him powerful exoskeleton armor that will come in handy when new villains come to town.

XoloMariduena (Cobra Kai) plays the role of Jaime Reyes, next toAdriana Barraza, Damian Alcazar, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon And George Lopez.

“Blue Beetle is here and Latinos FINALLY have their own superhero on the big screen. The movie is insanely good, so unique and delivers on all fronts, giving the superhero genre some much-needed sazón! The film’s Tangerine Dream-inspired synthwave music is also great,” wrote The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez.

“I’m happy to report that Angel Manuel Soto’s Blue Beetle is definitely a great cinematic moment! “Not only is this a fantastic introduction to Jaime Reyes as a character/hero, but also a love letter to Latino culture, which is built on family,” tweeted film critic Fico. Cangiano.

“DC should have promoted Blue Beetle more. It is an entertaining, self-contained and emotional story about the family. Xolo Maridueña is perfect and shines as Jamie Reyes. Also of note are George Lopez and Bruna Marquezine. I’m very excited that Blue Beetle is the first character in the DCU,” BigScreenLeaks tweeted.

“A HUGE win for DC and an electrifying introduction to the DCU’s first hero. Xolo Maridueña’s charismatic, star-building performance is the confident anchor of this intimate synthwave journey about family, origins and purpose. Screenwriter Griffin Schiller said, “Blue Beetle kept everyone amused.

“Blue Beetle amused me more than I thought. He feels like Iron Man and delivers a down-to-earth, intimate story about family and moral values. Susan Sarandon is the comic book villain I didn’t know I needed. “George Lopez is hilarious,” tweeted critic Tessa Smith.

“Blue Beetle is above all a pleasure. Some scenes are too ridiculous or childish for me, but many made me laugh (George Lopez!). The practical suit is great. The Latino performance is great. I liked the family-oriented inserts and the solid action moments. Overall, it’s fun,” writes journalist and podcaster Brandon Davis.

“Blue Beetle stands out from previous DC episodes and that’s mainly because of the Latin flavor, let’s be honest.” It’s funny, moving and the action scenes with BB are amazing! The cast is great, but Maridueña and López shine. I can’t wait to see more! Congratulations Angel Manuel Soto,” tweeted critic Genesis O’Neill.
