Black Kashmir Day in Egypt too

: Like Pakistan and other countries of the world, Egypt also observed Black Kashmir Day to pay tribute to the struggle of Kashmiris against the Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir under illegal occupation.۔

In this regard, a seminar on “Kashmir Black Day” was organized by the Pakistani Embassy in Cairo yesterday. Messages of the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out at the beginning of the program. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Cairo Sajid Bilal In his remarks, he paid tribute to the Kashmiris for their courageous struggle and highlighted the serious humanitarian crisis in Indian-occupied Kashmir. The Ambassador reiterated the support of the Government and people of Pakistan for the right of Kashmiris to self-determination.

Speakers representing Egyptian intellectuals, media and the think tank community at the seminar highlighted in their speeches that Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory between Pakistan and India and any country unilaterally recognizes its disputed status. No right to change. The speakers added that the issue was on the agenda of the Security Council and should be resolved in accordance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The speakers said that the international community should strongly condemn the Indian government’s anti-fascist, anti-Kashmir and anti-Muslim measures. Need The speakers stressed that the international community should put pressure on India to reverse its actions of August 05, 2019 and stop discriminating against Kashmiris.

A photo exhibition was also organized after the seminar, which featured photographs of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists highlighting the plight of Kashmiris under Indian occupation.
