Bitvavo falling over? CEO reassures users

As a crypto investor, these are tough times. The crypto winter is spreading, which is only further fueled by unhealthy companies like FTX falling over. Can this harsh winter also topple Dutch companies like Bitvavo, and should you be concerned?

Bitvavo reassures users

Fortunately, we can say that this is not the case yet. Besides the fact that FTX was of course extremely unhealthy as a company (it used user credits to fill gaps at another company), Bitvavo is also registered with the Dutch Central Bank (DNB).

In addition, Bitvavo is reportedly in a sound financial position and is not taking “unnecessary risks.” The company previously informed Crypto Insiders.

“Thanks to our healthy financial position, we are able to continue to offer the continuity and quality of service that our users have come to expect from us, even during less favorable market conditions.”

Said the exchange earlier in the crypto news. Now Bitvavo also lets on Quote know that there is nothing to worry about. Speaking to the website, the company’s CEO, Mark Nuvelstijn, said that they are even continuing to grow steadily:

“However, Bitvavo continues to grow steadily and if the market remains this way for a few more years, which is not unlikely given the current economic circumstances, then that is completely fine in our opinion.”

Although the market may continue on this path for years, there is no question of giving up at Bitvavo.
