Bitvavo adds Floki
Floki is a memecoin that can be compared to other crypto such as dogecoin (DOGE), shiba inu (SHIB) and pepe (PEPE). The name Floki is also based on a Shiba Inu dog, in this case the dog of meme king and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The project doesn’t just surf on the fact that it bears the same name as Musk’s dog. It is also building various solutions, including applications within decentralized finance (DeFi) and a game based on NFTs.
As always, a warning is in order here. Memecoins have become increasingly popular, but they are still highly volatile. Investing in this type of crypto therefore entails additional risks.
Good news for LiteBit users
The fact that Bitvavo has added Floki is good news for FLOKI owners with an account at LiteBit. The Dutch broker recently decided to close its doors. It chose Bitvavo as a partner, which means that customers can transfer their crypto assets to Bitvavo as easily as possible. This collaboration still needs to be approved by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
However, LiteBit customers with FLOKI in their portfolio were concerned that Bitvavo did not have FLOKI in their assortment. That is now the case with which customers can simply transfer their FLOKI.
