Bitcoin price drops below $35,000

The Bitcoin price continues to fall. The price has now even dropped below $35,000. Altcoins have it even harder, with daily losses of over 15%.


Bitcoin price has halved in a few months

Due to the ongoing price drop, Bitcoin is now reaching levels that it had not reached since July 2021. The price is currently 50% lower than the All Time High of $69,000, which BTC reached on November 10.

Ethereum price also turns dark red

It’s not just Bitcoin that has a dramatic start to 2022. Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world, may be suffering even more. The ETH price has fallen 15% in the last 24 hours and is trading at around $2,380 at the time of writing. Ethereum, like Bitcoin, is a long way (49%) from its all-time high of $4,878.26 in November.

Meanwhile, Ethereum competitor Solana, which experienced a massive price hike last year, is arguably the hardest hit cryptocurrency today. The SOL price has fallen by more than 25% in the past 24 hours. When will the massacre end?
