Bitcoin price at the end of 2022 enough to buy Bugatti

Jesse Powell, the big man at crypto exchange Kraken, hopes that the bitcoin price will be high enough by the end of the year to buy a Bugatti from 1 bitcoin. The cheapest Bugatti is $1.3 million, according to an unrepresentative 30-second Google search by the author of the article you’re reading.

Bitcoin price should rise sharply in 2022

During a session with the American Bloomberg, Powell said that he is still very bullish about the bitcoin price. Bugattis normally sell for several million, so his expectation that 1 bitcoin will be enough by the end of 2022 shows a lot of confidence.

Bitcoin for a Lambo in 2021 and Bugatti in 2022

Powell took part in Bloomberg Exclusive, where he was reminded of his predictions from last year. He said a year ago:

“Probably by the end of 2021 it will be one bitcoin per Lambo, and probably by the end of next year (2022) it will be one bitcoin per Bugatti.”

Bitcoin is worth 15 thousand euros less

At that time, the bitcoin price was about 38 thousand euros, which is almost 15 thousand euros more than now. But despite the fact that the bitcoin price has fallen sharply, Powell sticks to his prediction. He said he didn’t expect the decline to be this intense, insisting it will be possible to buy one Bugatti for one bitcoin by the end of 2022.

Powell bought bitcoin at $18,000

Powell explains why he is still very optimistic about bitcoin:

“I bought bitcoin again when the price hit $18,000, I’m happy to see it back up. In the long run I am still optimistic, the fundamentals are getting better. I would never bet against bitcoin.”
