Bitcoin (BTC) exchange FTX.com logo soon to be seen on Mercedes F1 cars Hamilton and Bottas

Formula 1 has again gained a new crypto partner. Crypto exchange FTX.com is because the cooperation entered into with F1 racing stable Mercedes-AMD Petronas, the team of current world champion Lewis Hamilton and his partner Valtteri Bottas. The exchange’s logo will already be visible this race weekend.

FTX is becoming more and more visible worldwide. That is part of an aggressive expansion campaign to strengthen the FTX brand by increasing brand awareness. By displaying the logo on the F1 cars of Mercedes-AMG Petronas, this brand awareness will of course only increase.

The collaboration will start this weekend and will be expanded step-by-step in the coming period in the run-up to the start of the new season. The FTX logo will eventually appear on the team’s cars, trucks and other areas. The racers themselves will also be directly involved in promoting the logo.

Hamilton and Verstappen are engaged in the battle for the championship. Never before have the two been so close to each other with the bizarre crash at Monza two weeks ago. Then Verstappen’s car finished on top of Hamilton’s. This battle looks set to get even more awesome for the races to come. FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is delighted with the new partnership:

“FTX is delighted to partner with the reigning Formula 1 World Champions and current team leaders, Mercedes-AMG Petronas, to continue to strengthen our position as the leading global crypto exchange.”

Team boss Toto Wolff is also looking forward to the partnership:

“We are very pleased to welcome FTX, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. Their innovative spirit and creative energy in such a rapidly developing global industry make them a well-matched partner in our own relentless pursuit of achievement.”

FTX and sports seem inextricably linked as the exchange increasingly enters into partnerships. Last week, the exchange announced that it would list fan tokens from major European football clubs on the trading platform.
