Washington: A bill was presented in the Congress to prevent an incident like the Capitol Hill attack in the United States in the future.

According to foreign media, the Democrat and Republican members of Congress jointly presented the bill in the House. The purpose of the bill is to determine the boundaries of the joint session after the presidential election.

According to the bill text, the formal joint session of Congress on January 6 cannot change the results. The bill will be approved by both houses by the end of this year.

It should be noted that on January 6 last year, former President Donald Trump’s supporters attacked Capitol Hill in Washington. Meanwhile, four people were killed in violent incidents after the riot, while the police arrested 52 people.

Apart from this, Indian flags were also seen outside the Capitol Hill during the protest of Trump supporters. American people and politicians expressed concern over Indian flags in violent protests outside Capitol Hill.
