Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Rips Show Graphics on Hot Mic, Offers DIY for $2,000

Jordon Hudson was recently captured making disparaging comments on an open microphone. The incident occurred during the production of her boyfriend Bill Belichick’s “Coach” podcast. Questions continue to emerge regarding her involvement in Belichick’s professional ventures.

Footage of the event was featured on the October 17 episode of the podcast “Pablo Torre Finds Out.” Hudson, 24, was seen participating in the recording of the inaugural “Coach” episode at NFL Films Studios in September 2024.

“Coach” featured Belichick, 73, alongside former New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and ex-Patriots assistant Michael Lombardi. Lombardi now works with Belichick at the University of North Carolina.

According to Torre, Hudson was not officially involved in the “Coach” production. She engaged in an extensive conversation with Belichick and the show’s production team. Her dissatisfaction centered on the program’s graphics.

“The background here… I thought this was going to end up looking like it was scribbled in a playbook instead of a typed font and stuff,” Hudson stated, leaning over a table. She added, “This feels like a ‘How many people does it take to change a lightbulb?’ situation.”

Hudson also commented on the production costs. “It’s a lot of salary for this,” she said.

When a production team member attempted to explain the workflow, Hudson quickly interjected. “If someone puts a clock on it, I can create this in five minutes,” she claimed, gesturing to a proposed graphic. “Would you give me two thousand dollars for doing it?”

Hudson further stated she had emailed the graphics person. She noted, “There was a specific way we wanted it to look.” She then asked, “Can we set up a meeting with the entire graphics team and anyone who has anything to do with this?”

She offered her own graphic design expertise. “We could use Adobe Photoshop,” she suggested. “Honestly, I’ve done it before… It literally takes three minutes to do. I was able to create [Belichick’s] entire website with animations, with all this stuff.”

Hudson and Belichick eventually moved aside for a private discussion. They continued to reluctantly discuss the show’s aesthetics.

“I don’t know how they have four full-time people on graphics,” Hudson whispered. Belichick responded, “They can’t do anything.”

Hudson then referenced an earlier design. “The last thing we accomplished for the Coach logo was like white letters and a black background,” she explained. “I was like, ‘I’m not doing that.'”

This seemingly private conversation was audible to the entire NFL Films control room, Torre reported. The recording was subsequently leaked to Torre.

The “Coach” podcast ultimately aired. All 18 episodes are available on YouTube. The final episode premiered on January 3, less than a month after Belichick was formally introduced as the new football coach for the University of North Carolina.
