Biles to testify in Senate on Nassar investigation

Simone Biles, McKayla Maroney, Maggie Nichols and Aly Raisman will testify in person at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Larry Nassar tomorrow.

According to a damning report from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, the field office of the FBI in indianapolis he made “fundamental mistakes” in his investigation of Nassar. It says that the FBI “He did not respond to Nassar’s accusations with the seriousness and urgency that they deserved and required”, concluding that the failures in the investigation allowed Nassar to continue his sexual abuse for months.

“I am no longer afraid to tell my story. I am also one of the many survivors of the sexual abuser Larry Nassar.”Biles tweeted in January. The American claimed that the abuse she suffered contributed to the problems that led her to withdraw from various events at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Nassar was accused by around 260 people of abuse under the guise of medical treatment and is serving up to 175 years in prison.
