Reality show fans are glued to their screens as Bigg Boss 19 continues to heat up. This season has truly turned into a pressure cooker for the housemates. Amidst all the drama, singer Amaal Mallik recently opened up about his past, sharing intimate details of his tough journey and how he tackled life’s many hurdles head-on.
In a recent episode, the air was thick with tension after Kunika Sadanand made some remarks about Tanya Mittal’s upbringing. Amaal, always one to speak his mind, gathered his fellow contestants to discuss the Kunika controversy. He explained that his honest and direct approach has often caused trouble for him in the entertainment world. Amaal revealed that powerful figures tried repeatedly to push him out of Bollywood. Yet, he always bounced back, stronger than ever, thanks to his music.
Amaal Mallik’s Fiery Confession
Amaal didn’t hold back when he spoke to his housemates. “Honestly, this is the first time coming on this show has made me feel low,” he admitted. “I was given a specific message, a certain ‘way’ things work. Many big names came and went. People told me they would finish my career. They said, ‘Let’s see how far you get in this industry.'” He then dropped a bombshell, recounting how “20 to 20 calls” were made by powerful actors and producers to get him removed from films. Despite all that, he declared, “I’m still standing here. Tomorrow, I will deliver another hit song. And then, those same people will come asking me for a track.”
Amaal then directly confronted Kunika Sadanand, telling her that her comments about Tanya’s family were out of line. Kunika, however, stood her ground without batting an eye. She argued that she was only expressing her view. She also brought up a past incident, pointing out that no one supported her when Farhana had attacked her family earlier.
The show, Bigg Boss 19, is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. Viewers can catch it streaming on Jio Hotstar at 9 PM. It then airs on Colors TV at 10:30 PM. This season features a mix of personalities, including Amaal Mallik, Gaurav Khanna, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, Tanya Mittal, and Kunika Sadanand, all vying for the ultimate prize.
