Bigg Boss 18 Winner Controversy: Rajat Dalal Questions Voting Process, Alleges Software Manipulation

Big Boss 18 ended on January 19, 2025, with Karanveer Mehra taking home the trophy. Ranjit Dalal, another contestant, thinks the jury might have made a mistake. In a recent chat with ‘Insider with Faisu’, Ranjit questioned how the votes were counted. He said he doesn’t think Karanveer won fairly.

What Ranjit Said

Ranjit thinks something went wrong with the voting process. He said, “I don’t think it was a fair vote. Maybe some software issue or something else played a role.” He added that this is the first time a contestant wasn’t picked based on viewer votes.

Ranjit also pointed out that Karanveer’s representative said the same during a press conference. The rep said Karanveer didn’t win based on votes alone.

Vivian Was Strong

Ranjit believes Vivian Dsena was a stronger contestant than Karanveer. He praised Vivian for staying true to himself. Even when the show tried to get to him, Vivian didn’t budge. He faced tough times, with Nuran Bhabi and his friend criticizing him on “Weekend ka Vaar”. Yet, he stuck to his choices.

The final results had Karanveer as the winner, Vivian as first runner-up, and Ranjit as second runner-up. Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, and Esha Singh were the other finalists.
