Big loss for India after losing to South Africa, dropped to 5th place at World Test Championship

New Delhi. The Indian team has to bear the brunt of losing the series against South Africa. After losing the series to South Africa at the Cape Town Test, the Indian team fell to fifth place in the World Test Championship table.

The Indian team, runner-up in the first season of the WTC, is currently in fifth place in the second season with 49.07 percentile points (PCT). India played nine Tests in the second season, winning four, losing three and drawing two. India has a total of 53 marks, but the calculation is done using PCT. After the second test, India was fourth with 55.21 per cent and South Africa was fifth with 50 per cent.

South Africa moved up to fourth place after winning the Cape Town Test. Sri Lanka is in the lead with 100 PCT, while Australia is second and Pakistan is third. Previous champions New Zealand are in sixth place.
