Riyadh: Those interested in buying and selling cars in Saudi Arabia have predicted that the prices of new and old cars are likely to rise here.
According to Arab media reports, experts believe that the prices of both old and new vehicles will increase in the next phase in the country. Coronavirus may also be the reason for the increase in car prices.
Saudi expert Ahmed al-Harbi said that the reasons for the high cost of vehicles were the crisis between the Corona epidemic and the US-China economic crisis.
He said that the shortage of e-chips has affected the production of vehicles, many control units are used in one vehicle, chips are used in control units.
The expert said that new vehicles would become more expensive due to reduced production and increased demand.
He further said that the prices of used vehicles will also go up due to the fact that the spare parts industry has been affected due to the shortage of electronic chips, so the prices of used vehicles may also go up.
