Oil exports to Russia suffered a major blow. Exports almost halved in a month.
According to international media reports, the International Energy Agency says that Russia’s oil exports fell by 42% in February.
According to the Energy Agency, revenues from Russian oil exports fell by nearly half in February compared to last year as Western powers tightened sanctions on Russia.
Russia earned $11.6 billion in oil exports last month after the European Union imposed a ban on Russian petroleum products due to a price ceiling agreed with the Group of Seven and Australia.
That’s $14.3 billion less than in January and 42 percent less than $20 billion in February last year.
Russia in global markets, according to the IEA, which advises wealthy nations "was sending almost the same amount of oil.
