Kajal Raghwani’s new film ‘Munia’ hits theaters soon. The trailer is out now, and it’s a gripping tale of a village trapped in superstition.
The story begins with a village where people blindly follow a fake tantric. They believe he’s a god, and when someone falls ill, they rush to him instead of a doctor. Kajal Raghwani plays Munia, a newlywed bride who arrives in this village. The tantric spreads fear, claiming a witch will destroy the village.
Munia’s life takes a turn when she questions the tantric’s power. Tragedy strikes when a child dies, and Munia blames the tantric’s negligence. Her husband dies too, and the tantric seizes the opportunity to label Munia a witch. The villagers, fueled by blind faith, force her out.
The Turning Point
Munia refuses to give up. She’s pregnant at the time of her husband’s death and later gives birth to a daughter. Together, they form a team with some village kids to expose the tantric’s deceit. The trailer showcases Kajal’s powerful performance as Munia fights against the tantric’s evil plans.
The film boasts a talented cast, including Ritesh Upadhyay, Kiran Yadav, and Aradhya Pandey.

‘Munia’ is produced by Vinay Singh and Manjul Thakur under the banner of Shri Adya Entertainment. Om Prakash Yadav wrote the dialogues, while Pyare Lal Yadav and Rakesh Nirala penned the songs. Om Jha composed the music. The release date is yet to be announced, but it’s expected to hit theaters in 2025.
