BH completes its squad with Jofre Cullell

The Spanish mountain bike team BH has announced this Sunday the signing of the Catalan runner Jofre Cullell that closes the squad of the main squad of this sport in Spain.

The La Rioja team, which will now be called the BH Coloma Team, will thus have three Spaniards in its squad, including the number one in the world, David Valero, Pablo Rodríguez and Cullell, who arrives from the Primaflor Mondraker. Next to them will compete the Argentine Catriel Soto, signed last month, and Rocío del Alba García and Natalia Fischer continue in the women’s squad.

With the arrival of Cullell to Carlos Coloma’s team, BH wants to further strengthen its chances of having a leading role in the next Olympic GamesSince the Catalan has played some and has many options to be one of the Spanish representatives at the Paris event in 2024. Cullell has a European gold in lower categories and has already been on the podium several times in the World Cup.

Although he has already started training with the rest of his teammates, the BH Coloma Team will not fully compete until the first week of February in a race in Andalusia. “2023 is going to be a crucial year for the Olympics and being able to compete in Carlos Coloma’s BH structure with colleagues like David Valero is a luxury. I am really looking forward to the start of the season and being able to share the paddock with my teammates on the national calendar and in the world cups”, Cullell said in statements to his team’s media.
