Revitalization of a Historic Building in Córdoba
A prominent building in the heart of Córdoba, located at numbers 5, 7, and 9 on Jesús y María street, has been revitalized with the inauguration of a new flagship store. The nearly 1,500 m² space marks a significant milestone in the restoration of the iconic property, which boasts a total surface area of over 9,000 m².
A Comprehensive Reform
The building, acquired by INBEST GPF SOCIMI in July 2022, had been abandoned for over 15 years. The property previously housed the old Simago and the historic Cinema Palace, a pediment that was transformed into a movie theater. INBEST GPF SOCIMI, a management company specializing in high-value real estate projects, led an ambitious comprehensive reform of the building. The intervention included the complete rehabilitation of the structure and the expansion of the existing commercial building, incorporating sustainability standards based on BREEAM certification.
A New Commercial Hub
The result of the reform is the creation of a premier commercial space that will house four flagship stores from leading brands. Bershka is the first to open its doors, solidifying its position as a major attraction in the area and reinforcing the commercial offer in the center of Córdoba. The building has garnered significant interest from top-level operators, including restaurants, drawn to the history and uniqueness of the Cinema Palace, which could become a strategic location for innovative gastronomic and leisure proposals.
